I like to move it, move it.

“Sometimes words can’t do what the body can do” An international storytelling workshop held on 4th Nov 2019. The objective behind the workshop was to bring back the long lost storytelling tradition in today’s world. It was a totally playful and fun-filled workshop giving great insights, activities, and ways to bring stories to come alive. We could learn plenty of movements and sounds which can be incorporated in our stories for better engagement and prolonged attention span. As music and movements hold the audience in a better way, grabbing more attention and long-lasting engagement, children may or may not remember the story but they would surely remember the particular hand movement, gesture, rhyme or song associated with that story. We have learned how storytelling can be the performing art and a visual treat for children, how can we create the aura to redefine and enrich the storytelling experience for kids. Along with that, we could learn self-learning ways to adapt to the art

Storytelling

Hi, Storytelling is a novel concept where a person narrates the stories or anecdotes, for influencing other people. It's a powerful tool of communication, to inform, engage, and inspire the key audience. It's a process where one has to  structure the ideas, facts, and data into a logically convincing story with the help of narratives. It involves a deep  understanding of human emotions, motivations, and psychology in order to truly move an audience.  I will share with you all of my experiences of Storytelling through this Blog.
